AQSIQ Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau General Office Director Huang Qianghua said, on the legal level, the "Special Equipment Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" has been passed the first instance of the National People's Congress, the draft is being investigated, revised, is expected to be issued during the current session of the National People's Congress. The safety law will clarify the legal status of the Technical Specification for Safety of Special Equipment and give full play to the role of social organizations such as associations and academies in the transformation of government functions. Once the safety law is enacted, the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment will be amended accordingly.

In terms of departmental rules and regulations, the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of the Manufacturing of Boiler and Pressure Vessels are being revised, the core content of which is to further improve the original manufacturing permit conditions. In view of the current rush to the production of LNG cylinders, supporting documents will make a clear specification of LNG/CNG cylinders. In addition, the "Management Measures for Special Equipment Operators" has just been revised this year. For the convenience of enterprises, the renewal period for special equipment operators such as gas cylinder filling and inspection personnel has been changed from 2 years to 4 years.

In terms of safety technical specifications, the revision of Gas Cylinder Safety Technical Supervision Regulations has been basically completed and is expected to be published by the end of this year. "Vehicle cylinder installation permit rules" is being drafted, will be aimed at the vehicle cylinder modification, installation to make clear requirements.

In terms of standards, "large volume seamless steel cylinder", "liquefied dimethyl ether cylinder", "liquefied dimethyl ether cylinder valve", "low temperature adiabatic cylinder", "automotive LNG cylinder", "automotive wound hydrogen cylinder" and other standards are also in the process of development.
